The current owners are Kerry Linkhorn and Jennifer Seed. We have combined our passion for the great outdoors and with previous  previous business experience  to  provide the great value and service Discount Rentals is known for.​​

We understand that people hire vehicles for many reasons and aim to make the whole process as simple as possible with no hidden costs. If you are arriving at Queenstown airport we greet you on arrival, even if your flight is afterhours. If you are already located in Queenstown collection is from our depot in Frankton. We cater to the budget minded and offer discounted rates for long term private or company rentals.

Our fleet of reliable vehicles are specifically selected for the wide range of activities in the Queenstown area. As well as offering standard cars we have many specialized vehicles and the largest range of minibus/vans in Queenstown. Whatever your activity, whether touring around or enjoying the great outdoors, we have a vehicle to suit. For example

• Skiing - we offer 4WD vehicles, free snow chains and the option of roof racks or ski boxes. For ski teams we have 4WD minibuses for 8 to 12 people.
• Mountain biking - for a small group we offer cars with bike racks. For a group of 4-5 riders we have vans with  a purpose built internal bike rack, or for larger groups there are minibuses and bike trailers.
• Fishing - budget 4WD and SUV's
• Trampers tend to request our budget style people movers or minibuses
• Golf tours - we have vans that seat 8 to 9 adults with extra large luggage compartments to fit the golf clubs - so no need for a trailer.
• School sports teams use our 12 seat minibuses and trailers
• Small tour parties of up to 12 enjoy our premium minibuses
• The film industry particularly like our 4WD vans and minibuses.​
